The Maghrebian
Conference on Sofware Engineering and Artificial
Intelligence (MCSEAI),called now the Maghrebian
Conference on Information Technologies, is a major
biannual international conference in the Maghreb
region. It brings together scientists, engineers,
students and industrials to exchange, discuss and
share their experiences, new ideas and research
about theoretical and practical aspects of computer
science information and Communication Technologies.
This 10th edition intends to build upon the
background of previous conferences (Constantine'
1989 (Algeria), Tunis' 1992 (Tunisia), Rabat' 1994
(Morocco), Algiers’1996 (Algeria),
Tunis’1998 (Tunisia), Fes’2000 (Morocco), Annaba’ 2002
(Algeria), Sfax’2004 (Tunisia), and Aghadir'2006 (Morocco)) by identifying new areas of interest of research and
development within the computer sciences and
information technologies for the international
scientific community in general, and for the
Maghrebian scientific community in particular. The
tenth

About Oran:
Oran is a fascinating
mix of old and new. The old quarter of Oran boasts of
Arab, Berber, Ottoman and Spanish architecture—the
Cathedral of Saint-Louis, the
18th century Great Mosque, and the
Marabout Sidi Mohammed El Haouri from 1793. In
the new part, don’t miss the Cathedral de Sacré
Coeur, which is a public library today and a
standing example of French architecture. Explore the
castle of Santa Cruz on top of the
mountain Abdelqa, in the city centre,
and the amusement parks on the outside.
Visit the Demaeght Museum for its exhibits on
prehistoric archaeological findings from throughout the
Magreb, and the history of Oran.
Oran’s coast is dotted with sandy beaches
and little cafes. Notable beaches include Ain El
Turk, Les Andalouses, Canastel, Kristel, Mostaganem, Cap
Blanc, Madagh Plage, Cap Falcon and
Sablettes. While here try a popular Oran
delicacy, Karantika, with glass of
typical Algerian Etey (mint tea).
